Faili is the central file extensions registry. If you are a software developer, you can register your file extensions and associated file types with us. Click the button below to add a new file type to our database.

When submitting new file types to Faili, please provide as much information as possible. We ask that you include the following information:

1. Faililaiend
2. Name of the associated file type
3. Description of the file
4. Names of program(s) that open or reference the file

When writing the description, please include the purpose of the file and what information the file contains. You can also submit icons for the related file type and application, which we will include with the entry.

All submissions are reviewed by the Faili team before being published on the website. Once we verify the information, we will add or update the file extension entry and let you know when the information has been published.
